I’m a Chaldean-American author-illustrator based in Michigan. Why just read a story when you can draw it too? Though I’m new to the kidlit world, I’m diving in headfirst— with curiosity, passion, and a whole lot of pencils. My culture and roots shape so much of what I create. I love telling stories that reflect identity, hope, and the quiet magic found in everyday moments.

When I’m not sketching or working on a story, I’m usually road-tripping across the States with my husband and our two awesome kids in search of the next great campsite and friendly faces along the way. My family is my biggest inspiration and the heart behind everything I create.
